On Wednesday, August 9 from 12 to 1 PM, join us online for fiction ghostwriter and editor Jeff Deck's Awakening the Monster: How to Edit Your Book Manuscript webinar, hosted by trustee Barbara Hoover. Have you struggled with how to bring life to your monster of a book draft? Deck will discuss how to edit your own manuscript. We'll go through what to do during the six essential stages -- Reflect, Reassemble, Resculpt, Research, Refine, and Recruit (a Proofreader) -- and talk about the mindset most helpful to get the job done. These six stages will remain the same no matter what kind of monster you're building: fiction, nonfiction, etc. And Deck will answer whatever questions you may have, so you can finally flip the switch and yell, in your best mad scientist voice, the immortal phrase: "It's aliiive!"
